How the Enhancing Oncology Model CBD Benefit Works
The Enhancing Oncology Model (EOM) is a CMS Innovation Center program in which oncology practices take on accountability for the cost and quality of care for Medicare cancer patients. As of April 1, 2026, EOM participants can elect the Substance Access BEI benefit, allowing them to provide qualifying oral CBD products to eligible patients at no charge. The annual benefit is $500 per patient.
